Our Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) is meticulously designed to align with the current Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements. This course is ideal for:

  • Individuals with a level 2 or 3 childcare qualification entering an early years setting, seeking inclusion in staff-to-child ratios as mandated by EYFS.
  • Anyone caring for infants and children, such as parents, guardians, grandparents, or individuals involved with the care of children.
  • Newly qualified entrants to an early years setting, having completed a level 2 and/or level 3 qualification on or after June 30, 2016, who must obtain a full Paediatric First Aid or an Emergency Paediatric First Aid certificate within three months of starting work.

Course content:

Infant CPR and Safe use of an AED:

Child CPR and Safe use of an AED:

  • Understand and practice techniques for managing a choking infant or child.
