Don’t Panic! Be Prepared: Why First Aid Training Matters

With the hectic, fast-paced nature of the modern world you could be forgiven for not having first aid training at the top of your “to-do list” but being properly trained in basic first aid is an asset that should not be underestimated. First aid training in the workplace, for instance is a highly prized skill and has been shown to boost confidence, morale and performance before you even consider the chance that it could save someone’s life down the line.

Workplace first aid training can make all the difference in acting swiftly during an emergency. In addition trained staff can minimize the risk of accidents and injuries as well as reducing their impact. Having at least one on-duty member of staff in your business that is trained in health and safety is, in many industries a mandatory requirement, the meeting of which can avoid any potential penalties.

From a more personal perspective as you all know accidents happen, so what could be better than being trained to think on your feet while at the same time remaining calm and knowing precisely the best course of action in an emergency? So, from a company and individual perspective attending a first aid training course, whether online or in person is a sensible, empowering and confidence-boosting thing to do, that could help you save a loved one or colleague.

Depending on your requirements there are a wide range of online courses that could be the perfect starting point – all provided by Marvel Training.
